An enjoyable listen, definitely sappy but that’s on par for the genre. This author definitely overuses the word “slammed” but I’ll be listening to more so long as there’s more to listen to.

Bit of mixed feelings, I liked it, I liked Griff and Kath, how he was willing to secrifice so she could get what she wanted and how she realised/knew what she wanted changed and wasn't willing to back down, and they had a bunch of great scenes, but idkk sth just wasn't adding up the way it should've... 3.5 stars and I'm really on the fence, cos it bas better than 3*,but for whatever reason it did not reach 4* heights yano?

Okay, I may be in the minority here, but this one wasn't for me. It may have been the fact that it focused more on the drama of Lady Katherine wanting to wed someone with a title, and I didn't find that all too interesting. I wish it had more of Katherine and Griff's relationship. The ending felt a little rushed for me.
There were a few very swoony moments. Lorraine Heath is a wonderful writer. I just don't think the plot was for me. A lot of people love this book, if the plot sounds intriguing to you give it a try!

Can I talk about how much I loved this book? A wonderful story, well developed plot and I adored the main characters. Griffith was a phenomanal hero and I felt that he was one of my favorite heroes I have read lately. I can't wait for the next book in the series.
