I loved this series! It was one of my early romantasy reads and it just sticks with me! I highly recommend it for all romantasy readers! This is a must read in the genre. You won't be sorry. Even though its a different series, you HAVE to read the Flesh and Fire series. The plot intermingles in the best way. You can't miss it!

I didn’t think I could love a book any more than I loved From Blood and Ash…. But this one proved me wrong. I somehow loved it even more. Phenomenal. So so good.
I love this world and characters. Poppy isn't some fainting damsel which is awsome and she can hold her own. Yeah sometimes her choices seem dumb but really not in the moment. Castel is pretty good too although his lack of communication makes it easy for others to apparently manipulate things.
That ending was crazy! Did not see it going that way.

I love Poppy and Casteel so much and Keiran is also great. Such a fun dynamic. I think it's great that Poppy isn't just a helpless character, she's a better fighter than most and has been through a lot.
This world is so interesting and I can't believe the ending, I really want to find out how Poppy has all these abilities and who her parents are.
