Not my favorite book so far from TJR, but I love her newer works. This one felt a bit forced and cliche, though I love the relationships between the three siblings.

TJR gives and she gives. This was such an enjoyable read with more depth and reflection than I tend to expect out of romance novels.

I was not prepared for how emotional this book would make me feel. Every much enjoyed my first Taylor Jenkins Reid book.

After 11 years together, several of which being married, a couple living in LA find they cannot stand each other and have lost their spark and fallen out of love. They decide to separate for a year and not speak during that time in order to give each other space, and in that time they learn more about themselves and how to receive and give love. They eventually find their way back to each other and learn how to communicate their needs and wants more effectively, and learn to appreciate one another and respect their differences.

All of TJR’s books are solid. This one was interesting to me as a married lady.

Never have I ever related to a book more than this one, relationship-wise. It's EXACTLY the book I needed at this point in my life & in my long-term relationship, as it brings out the realities of living together, fading love, the gradual decrease in affection, petty arguments, etc. etc. It reminds you that your relationship may not be as hopeless as you once thought, and it reminds you that effort is really all you need from both halves of the relationship. I wrote down so many quotes and situations that are SO similar to personal experiences, some down to a T. It was mind-blowing to read this book, and I'd recommend it to anyone, but especially to those in long-term relationships/those who are married. Taylor Jenkins Reid has done it again for me!
