Read via audio. Interesting read - well paced, good tone, and I love how many different people were interviewed

Not to be dramatic but I loved this book. Well-researched and full of personal experience/interviews, great fun facts about an underrated rodent, and general hopefulness that beavers can right our path, this one was actually really fun. The author is interesting, the tone is easy to read and understand, and it wasn’t the least bit boring. If you’re into nature/conservation/long form non fiction podcasts, this is a great read.

This is an excellent book, and so timely with water issues, climate change and the ending of the age limit of many of our man-made dams. This is not only an excellent book, well written and informative, but it is an important book. Very important. I am a "Beaver Believer!" How about you?

Really well written, I learned so much!! A good level of science and ecology for me, but it didn’t read like a text book
