Fun to read though a little bit confusing at the end.

This rating is purely personal: I don't think there's anything wrong with this book, it's just very much so for a different audience. The book's depiction of autism was really eye opening.

I thought some interesting ideas were brought up in this book around the importance of friendship, being aware of your local history, and a discussion of bullying and insecurities. I think there was just a lot that didn’t feel like it got fully developed and the ending wrapped things up quicker than I pictured. Hopefully the future books will expand on some of the discussions from this first book. Loved the art style and the characters and look forward to future books.

I'm not sure if I've ever read a graphic novel before and I'm glad I read this one! I think the twist at the end felt rushed, but it was a fun and I loved the art style. I think stories like these, about trans, POC and neurodivergent folks, are so important, especially for younger audiences!
