This is a quibble, but did anyone get distracted by the repetitive use of words like "little," "screamed," and "the nice man?" I thought it was a narrative device to convey a young child with limited vocabulary, but since every characters' POV contained the same wording, I think it's just lazy writing.

3.5-4 stars! I completely agree with most of the reviews I’ve seen of this book. The last 200 or so pages were SO repetitive and I ended up just skimming through them to finish this book. The first 500 pages were AMAZING and I was thoroughly creeped out. I just wish the ending followed suit.

Irei acompanhar.

Well... I finished it. Though I felt lost in some parts I was interested. Still trying to figure that part out though....

I jumped right in, ready to read a horror book. Yes, there were lots of scary action parts but it took a while for the action to happen. I swear some of these pages could have been cut down and you still had action. I felt that much of it repeated itself (might be a part of the story, shrugs shoulders).

Christopher was super boring. I liked mom. Confused by the hissing lady and the nice man. Sometimes the action just didn't fit, I was a little weirded out. My question is "what is the reader's age"? Not even sure of the plot, the conflict...... I liked the change in writing style, it gave character to some of the characters (some).

There were tons of religious tones (wasn't expecting it) that part was lost on me to. If someone would have said there are undertones of Adam and Eve here... I would have left it alone. (Again, I may be missing the point).

I don't know how to recommend it. But because I finished it, that means something was good (shrugs shoulders again).

I really enjoyed the book. This book had some interesting twists that I personally didn’t see coming at all.
