Weeeeeeeird. This was an odd, standalone Thor tale. I liked the characters, and the offbeat story actually worked for me. Not a 5-star, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Take a classic Lee/Kirby epic story arc, and give it an Alex Ross-like quality drawing: you’ll have an astonishingly good read. Another blast of a tale using one of my least favorite Marvel heroes. The drawing is breathtaking, the story grandiose and at the same time silly. But a must read for any Marvel fan.
