this was...a lot. the story was so well-written, and the characters felt so real. i did feel that the ending was a little rushed, though, and i wish we had maybe gotten more of lily's perspective throughout the entire thing. but yeah, definitely would recommend (with caution of course because this subject matter could definitely be triggering for some individuals)

truthfully no idea how this is a debut novel, i almost had no intention of reading it, but i'm glad i did. beautiful writing, the dialogue felt very genuine too like they were real people having real conversations. i would definitely read more from this author, can't believe i almost missed out on this one

Nothing was happening, it was far too repetitive and slow. A lot of things also felt exploitative of eating disorders. One dimensional characters with no depth.
