Another fun book. I will say, Mia dogging on herself all the time does get tiresome but it think it’s really true to her character. Self esteem can be a real bitch.

Perfect companion to the movies series and a must read if you want to fully immerse yourself into the life of being a princess.

The series redeemed itself here after the last one.

Okay, so I fully recognize that I’m not the target audience for this book, but Mia was a little too much for me in this one. I’ll be honest—I’m not totally sure what Michael sees in her either. Not only is she much younger than him, but it seems like she adds a ton of extra drama to his life? I want their relationship to work, so I just hope Mia can calm down and doesn’t end up really pushing him away with her dramatics and wrong assumptions.

As the first book written after the original trilogy was meant to be finished, this should have been amazing - it was good and was nice to catch up with Mia but she does spend a lot of the book kind of whining - I like strong Mia! Still love this book as I love this series and Meg Cabot, but it’s not my favourite one in the series!
