Another solidly fun and cozy mystery to read before bed. I am really enjoying Amy Vansant’s Pineapple Port series. The stories are mysterious enough to hold my interest but very low stakes so I’m not left with a ton of anxiety. Her cast of characters are charming and sweet and also hilarious. Highly recommend if you need a cozy mystery!

I liked this one even more than the first in the series. Looking forward to what is next for Charlotte, her loyal friends, quirky neighbors, and charming beau.

A funny and entertaining cozy mystery. Reminiscent of Janet Evanovich (I get strong Grandma Mazur vibes). Easy, quick read. A great palate cleanser book.
Dinged one star for lack of diversity and some careless wording.

The characters in these books are so hilarious.
Loved getting more back story to many of the cast members, and seeing Charlotte stumble through learning how to become an investigator. I like that while she is the sleuth, the story doesn't revolve around her, but more revolves around the residents of Pineapple Port.
I did feel like this book dragged in a few places, and was a bit longer than it needed to be. A few strings within each of the various storylines needed more suspension of disbelief than usual but it didn't pull me from the plot. The convoluted multi mystery was unique, and I enjoyed discovering the culprit for each case.
Can't wait to see Charlotte grow as a person and a sleuth.
