I was really disappointed with this volume, and how the sloppily ended the series. The artwork was subpar in my opinion, and there were several loose threads. What happened to Max? Where did Chrys go after seeing Lex and Sebastian? After Damien was put to sleep for threatening to kill Sarah (another wtf moments), what happened? I assumed maybe the carnival would take him away, but it's unclear. It was conveniently not talked about, instead focusing on Vermillion and Moon Raven, two characters that I have a strong dislike of.
I really wanted to like this more since I enjoyed the series. It felt rushed though, and as if the author wasn't sure where to go with the story.
