I wished I had more time with the characters and found the book too short. That being said, it was beautifully written but it felt like there was so much more readers could have gotten from this story.
A glorious little book that’s so full - but also makes you feel exactly how they must have felt in these communities- knowing something ominous was happening.

tldr: helping others is what we’re here for, birth control / sex ed / body autonomy is incredibly important, and a nice timely reminder that pro life often means forced birth and rarely comes with the support for the life of the mother or the child.

I forgot to pop this as read on my Goodreads. Niamh got me this book for my birthday❤️ short, easy read. I liked how the book referred to what happened in Ireland with the Magdalene Laundries and she’d light on the situation. Also, the ending at the end was a nice twist
