I really liked it actually.
I kind of understand the Aaron Warner hype train but not fully.
Like the whole

"I tortured people and I cannot change any of my actions in the future"

became tiring real quick for me.
I appreciate Kenji a lot, he has put some sense into Juliette as she was being a bit egocentrical for a hot minute.
I will gladly read the sequel, but not now lol.

this was so amazing. tahereh’s writing is poetic but not hard to read. i want to highlight half of the words. will definitely be going back one day to annotate this. i knew i was in for a rollercoaster when i was crying less than 100 pages in. emotional wreckage.

i don’t care what anyone says this one is the best out of the three books i’ve read. it pains me to say i wanna hug aaron so bad 😭 ALSO THE GIRLSSS AND WINSTON LIKE 😭😭😭😭😭😭

at first i gave it 4 stars, but i’m changing it to 5. i’m not taking constructive criticism on it.
