Juliette is one of the most self-pitying, boy-obsessed idiot I’ve ever read. She’s so busy wallowing in self-pity and she’s reckless and doesn’t think her actions through. For about 50% of the book, she mopes and whines about Adam and how she’s a monster and how everyone is mean and she doesn’t care about anyone except Adam. She spends all of her time ignoring everyone at Omega Point, refusing to interact with anyone that wasn’t him. She even forgot he has a little brother! It really irked me the way she yelled at Castle, a Black man, but then let Warner, a white boy, say whatever he wanted with little interruption. I do like Juliette finally getting over her self loathing and pity part thanks to best boy Kenji, who I love with all my heart. Warner, on the other hand, was kind of meh. The entire drama of Juliette/Aaron/Adam kind of overshadowed the plot. If Adam had just told her what was going on, a lot of things would’ve been easier.

I enjoyed this book. I think enough Warner exposure therapy is helping me tolerate him.

Adam frustrates me. He’s very whiny, and I can’t stand the fact that he basically mopes for the majority of this book because of Juliette. Every time he showed up I wanted him gone, even more so than Warner, who I didn’t like at all in the previous books.

Warner is kinda… better in this book. Not that he’s perfect and great, but I wanted to see where things were going with him and Juliette.

So much better then the 1st book!!

Tbh Juliette at first seemed like a cry baby but I get where she come from.
But like damn gurl, u amazing <3

...Adam... in The 1st book, I loved him more than u could imagine, but in this book he just seems a lil manipulative and controlling to me.. I know he wants her to be safe but like dude she is the one who will keep YOU safe-

Next up my fav character, Kenji.
I fr need someone like him in my life... someone who has a sense of humor but is still serious when needed.

And the we have Warner. Aaron Warner. Omg like damn, I got no words. My boi has gone through so much... he deserves so much better <3

Also can we also appreciate "the girls" where do I get friends like them

Overall, the book is amazing!!

the build-up and first half of the book were really slow and boring, but it shifted fast. even though it kept me on edge at times, the beginning is the reason i think this book is a downgrade from shatter me. BUT HAVE U SEEN AARON WARNER!!!!!! THE MAN OF EVERYONE'S DREAMS
