I could hardly put this one down--one of the best books I've read this year. Unless you are made of stone, however, I guarantee this one will make blood boil. I am heartsick at what our immigration system has become and the damage we, the "Give me your tired, your poor" people, choose to inflict on those who believe our reputation and want to come here. Perhaps we ought to change the poem on the Statue of Liberty to read "Give me your tired, your poor, your women raped for political purposes, and we will screw up their paperwork, tell them they are liars, rip them from their homes in their pajamas while terrifying their children, and threaten for months to send them to their deaths, all for missing a paperwork notification." It'd be more honest.
