A thoroughly enjoyable narration, I couldn't remember if this was the one I didn't like but I quickly realised I enjoy this one but The Valley of Fear is the novel that I don't get on with.

I must say Stephen Fry is a superb narrator and really brings the book alive.

The character writing is fantastic. The old British speaking can by hard for my American brain to follow at times. Otherwise, a very good read.

Unfortunately, this did not age well. The terminology and attitude is incredibly racist, and the mystery is impossible to divine from the information in the text. If you are a Sherlock Holmes fan, you will enjoy it, otherwise skip this one.

The audio was well done.
