In Enchantment Katherine May shares stories of her struggles with work, family, and the after effects of the pandemic, particularly feelings of overwhelm as the world rushes to reopen. I really have mixed thoughts on this book. I thought I would enjoy Enchantment more after enjoying her previous work. This seems more jumpy and disjointed in subject matter and like she's having a good old moan about constraints eg. motherhood etc but then I did enjoy the nature and swimming parts and the underlying message I felt the book was getting to about about opening the door to human experience even when its complex and finding the beauty with
