This book is much more sad and traumatic than I expected. The switching of narrators through the chapters works very well and makes it fun to piece together. There are some chapters/passages that are incredibly beautifully written. Although the ending was good (I audibly gasped) I found myself anticipating the last paragraph to be breathtaking as some other passages had been but was a little let down. Recommend for someone looking for a mystery infused with questions about love, friendship and parenthood.
