In a way I don't know what to think. The book is playful and disorientating in plot and form, the explicit self-insertion of the author was deftly done and intriguing. The prevalence of Puss in Boots was perhaps understated in the blurb.

I think the section talking about people boarding the bus (before things really go off the rails) was my favourite, highlighting the way the bus serves as an intersection point for the lives of many people in different sections of society and stages of life.

Contains a (seemingly obligatory) lengthy description of boobs that I could have done without. But the female character Odile was mostly well drawn so I would hold it against him too much.
