Ho letto questo libro nel 2002 dopo aver visto il film "the hours" e ho riscoperto l'amore per la lettura, che avevo abbandonato ai tempi del liceo.

Sono rimasto affascinato dall'abilità di Virginia Woolf di tessere un racconto che passa senza soluzione di continuità attraverso i flussi di pensiero dei personaggi, che si incrociano per caso.

So beautiful and absorbing, being caught in the swim of the narrative, the perfect stretch of the day. I think I'd have to read this again and again the really get it - which is the sign of the best books.

this felt slow yet fast, depressing and human.

felt confused and disoriented at some parts but that’s kinda the point.

there’s a lot to say abt this but it’s 1am and i don’t want my brain to explode so i’ll just say that i really had a depressingly good time with this one
