I read this as part of the tandem read with Empire of Storms. I highly recommend doing the tandem read; it flowed well and the stories complement each other. I know some people aren’t huge fans of this book, but I found Nesryn and Chaol’s stories of healing and self discover to be absolutely beautiful. The book was less exciting than EOS but still just as impactful.

DO THE TANDEM READ!

I honestly don't know if I would have gotten through this book if I hadn't done the tandem read. The storylines are important and I enjoyed them, but this book was not as exciting compared to Empire. I'm giving it 4 stars for now and may edit this review later.
