No me encantó, pero creo que es de esos libros que tampoco puedo decir que son malos.
La narración a veces es un poco compleja en el sentido en que no la comprendía, me perdía, pero sí se nota una narración fuerte, atrevida.
Me gustó mucho conocer a través de sus historias aspectos de Cuba que aunque los hubiera imaginado no los habría sentido tan reales, no sé cómo explicarlo exactamente, es una sensación como estarte asomandome a una cultura y estilo de vida muy distintos a los míos, pero al mismo tiempo con temas en común.

I had a problem with the syntax of this book. I gave it several goes and abandoned after 1/2 way through.

I did find the first story the most engaging.

Sometimes the writing is nice, but it's very rare that I finish an entire book and still have absolutely no clue what the point was.

Quick read but half the time I had no clue what was going on, nor did I understand how these short stories tie together. The last story ends on a really sad note which caught me off guard.
