I assume this reboot's goals are to bring and garner a new generation of fans for Patsy Walker and to get said fans interested in Hellcat's backlist. It did both of these things for me (although I was occasionally annoyed about so many "we're going to allude to something here; go read these books for more!" Moments, but if I had all the time in the world, maybe I'd appreciate the exact issues I'd need to track down to learn about certain pieces of her history? At any rate, one of the better graphic novels I read this year and I'm interested in continuing with future collections, which is a rarity for me!

The cats out of the bag!
Oh gosh, this was such a blast. I've been a fan of Leth, and Hellcat, for a while so it's surprising it took me so long to get around to this. I don't go in for comics much these days, but this was absolutely a breath of fresh air. Can't wait to read the other two volumes.

Kate Leth is queerly the best writer for this Marvel superheroine book! Not as good as Ms. Marvel or Squirrel Girl, but if you like those awesome books, you should definitely get into this comic.
Glad I was already familiar and in love with Jen Walters aka She-Hulk before starting this, but even if you aren't (and I don't know her current status in the Marvel comics timeline), this comic makes a lot of sense on its own.
Bonus points for explicitly, canonically identifying one of the charming characters as bisexual, since mainstream TV, movies, and comics seem to pretend that open (and actually VERY common) orientation doesn't exist.

Couldn't fall in love with it. It was a fun read and the illustration was really amazing. Reminds me a lot of [b:The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, Vol. 1: Squirrel Power|23732096|The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, Vol. 1 Squirrel Power|Ryan North|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1440092318l/23732096._SY75_.jpg|43344260] ~Ashley

Fun, with a lot of cameos from other marvel characters. Looking forward to the next volume.

Fun. A kind of Squirrel Girl light. A good entertaining read.
