FINALLY. After three absolute stankers from this series, I found one that actually elicited some emotions. This is composed of mixed media including auto-generated tiktok captions, social media comments, instagram posts, emails, texts, discord chats etc. I legit felt helpless watching Tiana's situation become increasingly bleak. While the story itself is nothing new, Alyssa did a fantastic job showing just how delulu these alphatwats are. I would've liked to see her explore the pick me (divine feminine) side of things as well because women not being for women is less discussed in these types of narratives. Anyways, the 3.56 shocks me but

An innovatively written story about online harassment
Spoiler alert: Minor details of the plot are revealed in the description.
When your life is public online, you can't be just a girl minding her own business and sharing bits from your daily life. Tiana learns this when a guy who's been harassing her outs himself in her comments and draws a whole group of incels from a podcast to bully her first digitally, but soon also in real life.
What I liked about this stort story the most was the format it was written in: we watch the plot develop through transcripts of TikTok and YouTube videos, as well as Discord chat messages. It presents the timeline of events though digital social media constant and the narration of the audio format was great to listen to.
The only thing I disliked are the repetitive social media stats when read in audio format, but I don't mind then in written form, as you could then skim it faster.
I think this is a great cautionary story for teenagers who are starting their online accounts and parents of teenage children alike. We all need to learn how to protect ourselves online and how easily accessible is our online data nowadays, which can endanger us in real life as well.
This is a 5/5 star read for me and my current and final favourite from the Obsession Amazon Original Stories collection.
