Didn’t grab me. Characters weren’t that loveable.

it's just an average read, a little boring at times throughout the book so it took SEVERAL sittings to finally get it all read
Do I recommend it: Nah unless you just want an average book.
Would I read again? No

There is the miscommunication trope, which I'm not a fan of but there is a forgiveness here, since she's escaping an abusive ex. But also, is Gelato that hard to make? Still cute though, but the plot holes got me.

“Sometimes, it’s the letting go of things that sets you free.”
Oh, cucchiaino, how sweet this was. This is my second Josie Silver book (I read One Night on the Island and really enjoyed it), and she has such a way of making your heart all twisted up for her characters and the things they’ve been through/are going through. I truly just wanted to hug them and reassure them all will be okay.
Things I loved:

I just could not get into this book. I honestly skimmed through most of it. It was basically two people dealing with grief making gelato and a lot of secrets.
