Oh my gosh this is such a great book! This is full of charm and wit, combined with a natural naivety that makes exploring what makes being human wonderful so interesting. I couldn't put this book down and I think this is a book that anybody could enjoy.
The amount of time Matt Haig must have spent on research and the planning process for this book must be insane. it's the type of book I would probably recommend to anyone, especially non-readers.

That's what starts to happen, when you know it is possible for you to feel pain you have no control over. You become vulnerable. Because the possibility of pain is where love stems from.
This was one of those books I had seen everywhere for what felt like a long time, and I started it without ever taking the time to read what it was about.

This was often funny, often a little too Hallmark-y, often poignant, often causing me to highlight and note and mutter true true...that is so true!, often doing things that made salty water stuff leak out near my eyeballs.
This was much sweeter than I anticipated. I didn't love [b:The Comfort Book|55506579|The Comfort Book|Matt Haig|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1617091619l/55506579._SX50_.jpg|86555144] because it was just too much for me, but this was my perfect dosage of human observations and realizations.
