It was fine

Not much happened, which is understandable for an 80 page book. It some of the same plot threads as the 1st book like the hero pursuing the heroine but the heroine is to scared of love/relationships. It was till enjoyable though

I really wish I hadn't waited almost 2 months to write this review, as I'm now struggling to remember the finer details about this book (I've read another 45 books since I read this). I enjoyed the plot, it was a fun use of the best friend's sibling trope, with a dash of small town and military added in the mix. It was a fun, steamy read, but ultimately I think this would've been more satisfying had it been longer.

I’D SAY SOMETHING ABOUT “I ONLY ARREST BAD GUYS,” BUT THAT’S ON ME FOR READING A ROMANCE ABOUT A COP (AND I’LL PROB READ MORE IN THIS SERIES BC I DO LIKE ROBERTS’ WRITING)

short, fun, sexy, fulfilling emotionally. Takes talent to have a novella story be all that in one delicious little package.
