Wow! Where do I even start?? This book was really well written. I really enjoyed the characters and the story was intriguing. It took me a couple chapters to get into the story but once I was, I was hooked. This book has light dom/sub and Keira wrote the scenes perfectly. I’ve read a few books by this author and this smut was by far the spiciest. Super impressed!! Keira truly does not disappoint.

I liked Liam’s character and his struggle with his identity. TW: internalized homophobia, slurs, and straight up homophobia.

I also audibly squealed when two characters from another book showed up!

I know this is a me problem and I promise I am working on it, but the age gap here bothered me… I feel like Cody is just a tad bit young for Liam BUT I am working on it lol. I also have an issue with the lack of emotional bonding these two have. Most of their relationship was intense sex and they never really created an emotional connection.

I was going to give this three stars but the smut added an entire star. Fucking amazing.

It wasn’t terrible but I don’t like to read about internalized homophobia. It’s frustrating and so depressing.

My heart hurt reading this. The homophobic family and the closeted mind from Liam. This Bondi beach inspired love story was amazing.
Add a little submission and light shibari in a healthy sexual relationship and it's another Keira success.

Sweet MM love story about self acceptance. 3/5 well written spice

I really liked the contrast between Liam, who is in his 30s and still so locked up in his family's expectations of him but at the same time holding himself apart from them, and Cody who is 20 but living his own life and has accepted that it will forever be a source of friction with his parents. Cameo from Ethan and Clay was adorable! I also never want to go to a beach where the lifeguards are this busy??? That seems bad?

Love Cody! Reread this all the time, like how they aren’t in stereotypical roles. Read on kindle
