It was a bit boring, wasn't it?

I hate filler books. I know concretely that a lot happens, but I struggled so much reading it because it is repetitive and it seems to be going nowhere.
A big flaw of Stiefvater's writing is the pacing: very slow and then rushed in the end.

I am a bit disappointed and also CAN WE PLEASE HAVE MORE OF ADAM?
I'm begging at this point.

This book made me hate the characters a little bit, and I'm not feeling good about it considering they're usually the strongest asset to the author's books.

I’m a little disappointed, not going to lie. Everything was competently done, however none of it entirely worked for me. The characters were less interesting than they were in the first book, and while the ending was really good, it didn’t entirely satisfy me because I was able to guess what the ending was going to be halfway through the book. Furthermore, Maggie presented a ton of unique and interesting concepts and then failed to do anything with almost any of them.
