I’m really impressed by how this series evolved in Volume Two. The story seemed more coherent and focused, which is definitely an improvement from Volume One. The art was still kind of hard to decipher at times, but I think that kind of went with the theme of chaos in war.

I’m so sad that this seems to be the end of the series, because I’d love to see how this series and this universe could continue to evolve.

I love the artwork in this series. While I wasn't as captivated by the story in this volume as I was by the first one, it was still a very enjoyable read.

While I might not have loved it as much as I did Vol 1, it is still a fantastic continuation with the series.
While Pretty Deadly is not "officially" cancelled (allegedly), and there might never be any hope for a return date for Vol 3, I will happily hold out hope for it. It's a series worth waiting for.

the artwork is stunning but the story did not live up to the first book.

The art is so beautiful, but the story is confusing and challenging and I still don't know if I actually *like* it.
