I love Anastasia and Nate they are so cute and a perfect match!! I loved how they helped eachother grow and that Anastasia finally noticed what a piece of shit Aaron is (sorry for my rudeness but Aaron deserves it!). The Ending was perfect I am so happy for them and that they achieved their dreams but now I wanna see them with their little girl o̴̶̷̥᷅﹏o̴̶̷̥᷅ Still it was so cute♡♡♡

  • I decided to read this book because it was super hyped on TikTok - Had mixed reviews (some people enjoyed it and some hated it/didn’t understand the hype)
  • I didn’t hate it, but I wasn’t obsessed to understand the TikTok hype
  • It was very slow at the start and I was under motivated to read further - beginning should have reader motivated to delve into the story
  • Read like a Wattpad book at times, I cringed at times at the writing
  • The sex scenes were hyped to be spicy, but I’ve read spicer - The age of the characters had me cringing at the dirty words they were speaking (college romance)
  • Felt uncomfortable at times - the college coach commenting on Anastasia’s sex life and Nate’s genital size.
  • Anastasia annoyed me a lot because of her lack for back bone towards Aaron who was manipulative
  • Not sure I liked her friends with benefits introduction

This is the epitome of enemies to lovers!! I’m not just obsessed with her relationship with Nate, but with all the guys. I love the family they find together. This book is so sexy and sweet and just so good!! I definitely see why it’s everyone’s favorite hockey romance.

I actively avoided this book for over a year because it was a "booktok book" and I genuinely regret not reading it sooner. It's not perfect but it is way better than I expected and an enjoyable read. It's not all spice with no plot which was a very real concern of mine going in but it's a good story with spice throughout, the only proper way to write a spicy book in my opinion as a smut reader since the age of 13. The plot gets a bit predictable at points but is still able to grip you. The characters are lovely (
except Arron
) and were where I got most of my enjoyment from. I will absolutely be reading more from this author in the future.

There was a lot of cringey dialogue. All of the main characters’ friends seems so toxic.  Definitely not a “fluffy comfort book.” There’s also a lot of larger issues that are just glossed over like eating disorders and body dysmorphia, verbal abuse and manipulation, “hard home lives”… etc. Found it weird how the author just randomly threw in that JJ is pansexual?  Also had Summer say something random in Spanish?  It felt like she was just forcing some diversity into the cast of white, rich college kids.
