the book was bad. don't trust Booktok. Honestly, I had fun reading it, for sure a comfort read however, I don't recommend you spend your money on it. if you already have the book I say go for it, cause I did enjoy it i just felt it was predictable and rushed, furthermore it was still cute.
I will say I hate the ending, the whole point was that Stassie didn't want to have a baby, it felt like the writer forgot they even put that part in. She wanted to adopt and made that clear with Nate

I thought it was fine, super cheesy and highly unrealistic but a decent enough romance. However, the book was about 200 pages too long and I felt it dragging on in the second half. The writing has potential but the author needs a better editor, there was a lot of overexplaining and a lot could’ve been cut.
Still could’ve been a 3 star read but I HATED the epilogue.
The main character gets pregnant, despite repeatedly emphasizing that she does in fact not want that, ever, a year out of college? She can’t be older at 23 at that point, with a whole career ahead of her, but noooo, for the sake of plot (what plot?) she gets knocked up. I hated that and I can’t believe people seem to be fine with that.

overall, it was enjoyable, but it was nowhere near as revolutionary as social media has made it out to be. i do like anastasia and nate’s character arcs, and both characters are reasonably fleshed out. i really liked the found family trope, but it did seem a little too perfect at times. there were certain parts that made me question why i was reading the book at all though. at the start, the nicknames everyone had were just too much, but as the book went on it got better. the epilogue was admittedly cute although the trope that was introduced in it was sooo predictable.

overall a good and quick read but i don’t think i’d pick it up again.

Cute. I liked how these characters knew how to use their words when things got hard instead of falling into the miscommunication trope.
