i was fully convinced i was going to give this book a 2* — the writing is bad, NOTHING happens, most interactions/dialogue between characters are outright laughable (not in a comedic way), the repetitions were driving me crazy god the amount of times i read the same thing over and over again, chloe walsh needed an editor BADLY!! and the length………do not get me started this book could’ve easily been 250 pages yet we’re reading 700 pages of nothing.

but.

i’m a characters-girly so the last 15% of the book REALLY made me care about all of them so yup keeping 13 here i come

thank goodness i finally finished this (how did i start in march???!!!). it was very camp, but way too long. almost repetitive, in dire need of editing. additionally, as an avid rugby fan, it was fun to read about the sport, but made me cringe so bad!!! when shannon tried to explain it and narrated it from her pov... i lost it when "Caps" was explained. this is obviously educational for readers, but since such a low volume of text was about the actual sport it just made me want to die because it was like, why!???!
