My favourite volume yet.

This answers so many questions, has great pacing, is full of action, has the best artwork and story so far, and the insight gives me appreciation for all the things that hadn't made sense up until now. I'm really looking forward to the conclusion!

Such a good set up to the finale! Such good world building and filling in the parts of the story we always had questions about!

I enjoyed this one again, a lot more flashbacks in this one, which was interesting.
Some of the keys weren't explained, though, or were glossed over again, which was a shame.

Yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssss, the backstory. And enough nightmares to last me two lifetimes.

Also, this volume is dedicated to Neil Gaiman. Yesssssssssssssssss.

Reference to the Micmac Indians. Yessssssssssssss.

Super fucking creepy possessed goat.

Nooooooooooooooooooooo.

(Seriously, I can't unsee that. Ever.)

The plot is building up nicely. Can't wait to see what the final volume has in store.
