I was given this book, from the author, in exchange for an honest review.

This book tells the story of something utterly cinematic. It’s a novella that dives into the deep trenches of the unknown and pulls out adventure. The characters like Ben, Tim, etc. are some of the best I’ve seen in a while, coming from a queer person, they were excellently done. The focus was not on them but on the bigger things at hand and I really enjoyed that aspect of it. I would also love to say that the relationship felt realistic too which added to great character development. And how the Verum Mallum was written felt very imposing. I hope more is done here with future installments. I give this book 5 stars out of 5.

Thank you Mick, for the great story and queer representation in horror.
