Oblivious, studious nerds are my weakness. This was adorable.

I love Sunday's writing: the odd-ball characters, the humour, the slow burning romance. Brilliant.

That being said, though, I didn't like Liam Davis and The Raven nearly so much as the other books I've read from her. My actual rating for this one falls closer to 3.5 than a solid 4, I'm afraid.

I found Liam to be a little too strange of a character, his behaviour and reactions frequently throwing me off, and there was a definite disconnect with the whole Raven story line -it just felt kinda weak (and, at times, sorta daft).

So, yeah, didn't quite check all the boxes for me, but was an extremely enjoyable read for the most part non-the-less :)

*sigh* I thought I was going to love this but it sadly let me down. Liam had his funny moments yet his coldness towards Quinn and their whole relationship just felt off to me. Maybe I would’ve enjoyed this more if it was from Quinn’s POV? I dunno. I love angsty stories and there was none in this book.
