This was a really cute book! It was a little bit predictable which took away from the fun, but this author's writing style still kept me interested. Even though this book isn't entirely set in summer, it was a very good beach read! I also really like how characters from The Summer of Broken Rules became background characters in this book. While the ending felt rushed, I don't think the author left any loose ties, and I did generally like it.

This book was cute. I had a hard time getting into it, but there were parts of it I did enjoy! The Summer of Broken Rules is my favorite K.L. Walther book, so I enjoyed seeing Meredith and Wit again. I didn't really like any of Madelines other prospects. I liked Marco, until Shelly. I wasn't a fan of Connor though. I also, surprisingly, wasn't a fan of Austin. I did like Katie. I felt like she was misunderstood the entire time. I also thought some things were a bit weird. Overall, it was a cute story. I had trouble connecting and getting into it.
