This was a bad book sorely in need of an exit and a ghostwriter for dialogue. And another edit. I dropped the book at 90%, just unable to stand it anymore and having no reason to care about the characters. The thinking is probably much better than I’ll ever manage, but the writing is one-star worthy.

Fantastic book, but holy crap it was a slow read. It has a way of drawing you in once you get invested but getting invested was difficult.
