On je mizogin dendi, svinja bez karaktera i životinja bez mašte.
Ali molim vas, dosta više s tim „I can fix him“. You can't.

What the fuck did I just spend 27 hours listening to? A narcissistic pompous asshole enters a world of make believe on a Greek island and is played by a cast of other pompous assholes "for his betterment". At times racist, sexist, and xenophobic.

1_The ending is kinda giving Nietzsche's Antichrist. I like that tbh;
2_Main character was shitty enough to make me want to continue reading in anticipation of him getting his lesson. He doesn't change that much tho; he makes a switch from being a pretentious d**k that uses his loneliness to get girls to sleep with him to a lil less pretentious one with maybe a bit more depth;
3_
It feels like *they* are desperately trying to teach him / show him / push him towards finding the meaning of life/love and he keeps trying to out-smart everyone and it comes back to bite him in the ass every single time. Will he ever learn? Probably no and it's one of the most realistic things about this book;

4_It's packed with tropes and references to art, theatre, including ancient Greek theatre, obviously, and also quite a bit of philosophy but it's kind of less "in the face", which I really liked;
5_Overall this is one of these books you may wanna revisit later in the future; it feels like you could connect more and more dots with the next read.
