3.5 stars. Something of a redemption of the bad second book, with interesting interplay between various factions and better prose. I suppose I’ll keep reading the series, eventually.

Space war at its finest.

A dash of intrigue, a dollop of treachery, a friendly alien, and a generous scoop of romance. There's a lot to enjoy in this story, something for almost everyone.

If you like Battlestar Galactica give this a read. Space, hostile aliens, and non-graphic romance. Is only 300 some pages, so great for a quick read.
