Is it wrong to love the Marvel 65 more than the 616? It's such a fresh take on so many characters, and it's so much fun. This story has Gwen really coming into her own, finally, and is probably the version that most informed the one in the recent movie. Really crisp, nearly cartoony art, great writing, funny empathetic, and story-driven.

I really enjoyed this volume! I like that it doesn't dwell too much on Gwen's origin story, but rather the aftermath of it. I didn't know what to expect going in, so I was pleasantly surprised by how Earth-65 diverges from Earth-616, like Captain America being a young black woman. I'll probably read the next volume if I can find it on hoopla.

Even though people have troubles liking this title, it's amazing to me!

I adore comic books with female leading characters, and this is one of my favourites

Maybe the fact that I love everything related to the spider verse has to do with my opinion on this but nevertheless, I'm gonna be continuing this series til it ends!
