It's Christmastime, and members of The Women's Murder Club are wishing for a quiet holiday. However, when a mysterious killer starts terrorizing the city, it forces Lindsay into action, shattering any hope of the peaceful Christmas she'd been dreaming of.

The Women's Murder Club used to be my favourite series from James Patterson. I liked the female perspective, and especially the friendship aspect with Lindsey, Cindy, Yuki and Claire. Unfortunately, Lindsey is pretty much the only one present in this one, which was disappointing.

The 19th Christmas is written in signature Patterson/Paetro style with short chapters and a fast and page-turning pace. It started out with somewhat of a bang, but as it progressed it often felt like a wild goose chase, with things falling into place a little too easily.

While this one was definitely not the best in the series, the ending definitely left me with a bit of curiosity for book 20, so I'm willing to give this series another chance.
