the new introduced characters were fantastic and i was so glad this book was more “adventurous” than the previous one and after that ending i’m so exited to read the sequel!

This book, and the first one in the series, are buy far my favourite books I’ve read this year. Would recommend to anyone who loves queer fantasy!

Great sequel. It was a little slow in the beginning but I loved the characters, especially Bo, and the revealed secrets.

the laugh at a humorous joke to that character’s death gave me whiplash

I adored the way Lei and Wren thought about their love (the friend quote) and the inspiring quotes about the paper girls.
