Beautiful and wonderful. Really reads like a prestige indie comic, not a book based on a mainstream superhero. Pulpy but noir.

What a fantastic storytelling device using those sign language panels and balloons without texts! This volume saw Clint Barton challenged to his limit. Really, he could have been a super soldier with everything that has happened and he still could aim a bow and arrow. I'll just sum up this volume or this entire series really, with tha panels by the end showing Clint and Kate shooting arrows at the same time and the target zooms in. No idea who hit where they could have hit the bullseye as a metaphor for them both reaching their matured selves, their focused selves. They probably did. And Lucky is still alive!

I mean yeah, one of the best uses of the medium for the superhero genre. Endlessly enthralling and unique. A real gem of a book. Of course all of this is preceded by 3 other Matt Fraction and David Aja Hawkeye books, which set the scene for their finale. But this book has some of the best story telling and issues of the whole run. The last 2 issues especially and the introduction of Barney into the story. No wonder this is considered a modern day favourite.

Hawkeye dizisi çıktığında Marvel yapımlarını sevdiğimden pek geciktirmeden izledim. Aslında Hawkeye, Avangers içerisinde en az sevdiğim kahraman. Nedense kendisine hiçbir zaman ısınamadım. Kardeşimin ise en sevdiği kahramanlardanmış ve bana çizgi romanlarını ödünç verince ufak bir maraton şeklinde okumak istedim. 4 ciltten oluşuyor ve diziyle ufak benzerliklere sahip. Clint, Kate ve kısacık da olsa Şanslı’nın maceraları anlatılıyor. Başında sonuna dek bağlantılar içermekte ve arada Young Avangers hakkında bir bölüm de var. Oklar, Eşofmanlılar, Madame Masque, eski dostlar, akrabalar derken 2 Hawkeye’ın başı dertten çıkamıyor. “Durum kötü görünüyor.” cümlesinin sürekli kullanılması da hoş bir detay olmuş. Beğendiğim kısımlar zaman akışının bazen tekdüzelikten çıkarılması ve esprili bir anlatıma sahip olmasıydı. Ayrıca Şanslı’nın gözünden anlatılan ufak bölüm de güzeldi. Farklı tarzlar denenmiş hatta işaret dilinin kullanıldığı bir bölüm de vardı. Ancak çizimleri pek sevemedim. Clint ve Kate arasındaki yaş farkı bence çizimlere pek yansımamıştı. Hawkeye hala pek sevdiğim bir karakter değil ama maceralarını okumak keyifli oldu. Bu şekilde art arda çizgi roman okumanın zevki de ayrı oluyor.

Esto de tener dios ojos de halcón actuando en costas distintas parece una buena idea pero durante unos cuantos números de este tomo me parecía un desperdicio auténtico. Separar a una pareja como Kate y Clint, con la química que tenían era un error y la adición del hermano malote no conseguía mitigar ese error. Por suerte los días últimos números son increíbles, a la altura de lo mejor de esta etapa de Fraction en esta cabecera y por eso sinceramente le he dado 4 estrellas.

I can see why this run didn't make it any farther, but I'm also glad that I read it because Hawkeye is way cooler than Jeremy Renner and Kate Bishop is way cooler than Clint Barton and now I know these things and that makes me smart.
