Jet, but we know her as Hex, has been almost front and center throughout the whole Sentinel Security series. She is always there to make sure that the good guys make it out and is always up for a little bit of hacking! To say that she is literally the bomb, is a gross understatement. She is a total badass and seems to see all the things and knows when her teammates have fallen in love….long before they do! But our girl has been lonely and really wants someone for herself. She wants someone that looks at her like Killian looks at Devyn. Those sweet secretive moments that Hadley has with Bennett….she longs for that. And of course the one man that gives her goosebumps is the ever elusive Shade.
Caine, or as he is most known for, Shade. As a self proclaimed “lone wolf” he is a very talented and infamous CIA agent. He works alone, and doesn't have commitments. But he cannot get the sassy, pixie of a hacker from Sentinel Security out of his head. He is drawn to Jet. And he cannot stay away. He was taught to not trust and that he didn’t need a team, but the more he is around Jet the more he needs her.
This entire series is one of my favorites, but I have been so excited for Hex to get her chance at love! She is always the one taking care of others and stepping in to help out. The tension between these two has been building and wowzer Hackett does not disappoint with this book. There is a lot of sexual tension- and friends, it is so steamy!!! Cain and Jet cannot keep their hands off one another. All their sexual tension does not take a backseat to the mission AT ALL. And let me tell you, Hackett describes an op so amazingly well. I am always at the edge of my seat waiting. Trust me you will be hooked! If you love a team series, a lot of suspense, some seriously terrible bad guys getting what they deserve, and always in the most amazing settings this book and series is a must read! I have enjoyed every single one of the books in this series, and I am so excited for what Anna Hackett has to offer readers next. I mean….Boone & Atlas I’m looking right at you!!!

I love Cain and Jet, I love how she loves him, this grumpy man who thinks he's unlovable. I love how they love each other. The suspense was great, and I loved this whole series.
