Pretty good, darker than I expected when the 13 year old said the 10 year old would like it - after listening to it, I don't think she would. But Miss 13 thinks it's great and compared to the other stuff she reads I'm sure it is "tame."
I usually don't like music in audiobooks, but in this book it seemed perfect.
May or may not continue the series.

The audiobook version of this book is fabulous! The narrator's range and the accompanying music really enhance the story. I recommend it to kids (grades 4+) and adults who like supernatural mysteries laced with some dry humor.
Recommended by a librarian but too childish for me (although quite amusing). Haven't rated as DNF.
I love this book series! It's full of action and magic and the story is really well written. I've met the author, Derek Landy, twice and he is one of the most nicest and charming guy I've ever met.
Ich habe das Buch jetzt schon zum vierten Mal gelesen. Ich glaube das sagt schon einiges aus. Das erste und dieses Mal war es per Hörbuch und es ist einfach UNGLAUBLICH GUT. Das Hörbuch ist 100% Lohnenswert sich anzuhören und die Story ist einfach gut. Mehr muss ich nicht mehr sagen, es ist einfach gut. Vom Anfang bis zum Ende ist man investiert und will einfach nicht mehr aufhören. Persönlich finde ich Tanith Low einfach SOO COOL! Wenn ihr wissen wollt wer das ist, müsst ihr das Buch einfach selber lesen. Und ihr MÜSST es lesen, da es einfach so GUT ist. Vielleicht sollte meine Review etwas hilfreicher formuliert werden, aber man merkt glaube ich, dass ich das Buch LIEBE und will das JEDER es mindestens einmal gelesen hat. Naja, das war's von mir, ich hoffe ich konnte irgendwie doch noch helfen.
This book is full of so much humor between a skeleton and a 12 year old girl, and not at all what I thought this would be! Really enjoyable though i am left with so many questions about other characters I care about and decisions with characters that we have repeatedly been told is bad news from the start, why give them a busted all powerful weapon? don't know but it's definately a good read. 4.5 stars!
