A good story. An easy read. No great levels of concentration needed. Which made it a great choice for a visit to the In-Laws :-)

- a murder is committed just outside of a closet where Bernie is hiding (to avoid being discovered mid-robbery.) As usual, he has to solve the crime to prevent being thought guilty himself. A bit funnier than the first Rhodenbarr mystery I read. A more comfortable read because I had already been introduced to both the style, and the characters, with the previous book

This is my first Lawrence Block book and I was pleasantly surprised. It wan't super easy to figure out 'who did it', so it kept me entertained. I will most likely read more by this author.
