I hated Warner. Now I don't hate him anymore.

I really liked this book, it was slightly different from Shatter Me and I appreciated the cold tone in Warner's voice. I love that the author included the parts where Warner could not think straight because of the pain in his arm, his recovery and moments when he tried to shower with bandages. Those are real problems after getting injured!

I also knew this novella was designed to make the reader feel sorry for Warner a little and to make him look likeable, but it still worked for me.

I am happy I have read this before the second book, I got a deeper understanding on Warner's actions and behaviour.
