Deven is asked to identify a suicide victim in the morgue. Determined that it’s not who the officers say it is; she starts her own investigation. Upon doing so, she unravels many “hidden secrets.” Kennedy, her sister, was wrapped up in living a double life. Thinking she’d get the answers she was looking for…she visits a woman mentioned by Kennedy’s dad-Erika. Deven went to approach her, it wasn’t a very pleasant visit.
Many questions still crossed Deven’s mind. Did Deven even know her sister? Was she still alive? I’m sure you’d love to know. With the constant twists and turns, this book kept me on edge. I’d definitely recommend it.
