I loved the storyline!! Elle had such depth and development especially with her life imploding abruptly. She rolled with the punches and threw some, too!! I liked how she put her best into learning about becoming a demon hunter and solving the mystery. She and Caden had hilarious interactions (even with Caden holding some secrets)!! Their chemistry was fantastic and I loved their banter!
The mystery aspect of the plot was a little slow and somewhat forgotten about in the midst of things (such as Elle's training, that ended up being talked about more in comparison) and then suddenly picked up towards the end.
I enjoyed the twist at the end!! I thought it was a good one!
The book does end on a bit of a cliffhanger.
